Blarney Island
Mr. Myers usually plays twice a year on this island, located on the Chain-O-Lakes in Antioch. We designate one of the dates as a club social and head to the island. The Port of Blarney offers a shuttle service to/from the island. Visit Their Website |

Each year we sponsor a full-sized corporate holiday tree at Brookfield Zoo. Parakeets join our PHlock as we transform the plain tree into a tropical sensation. We enjoy Jimmy’s music and some hot cocoa as we decorate. Visit Their Website |

This event truly epitomizes our motto “Party with a Purpose”. Held on a Saturday in October, all of the proceeds from CocoBowl are donated to charity. We raffle off various donated items for charity. Teams decorate their bowling lane in preparation for our lane decorating contest. Don’t worry if you’re not a bowler – we encourage everyone to find unique ways to get the ball to hit the pins. In 2011, we bowled and raised $1,400 for Good Sam NICU. |

We gather old tropical attire, bags of hay, sticks, and other items and head over to St. Charles on a designated weekday and create a tropical scarecrow sensation in the park. We are one of many organizations that put displays together for this annual event. People come from near and far to see all of scarecrow creations. The keets join us on the weekend as we stroll through the park admiring the various scarecrows. |

“Twenty degrees and the hockey games on. Nobody cares; they are way too far gone” We enjoy watching games while eating a hot dog just as much as any other group! We’ve been known to get a group together to see the Chicago Blackhawk’s, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Wolves, Schaumburg Flyers and Kane County Cougars, and sometimes local college games. |
